Pick of the Week: 11/5/07 November 7, 2007

Kate and Kyle had a classy and beautiful city wedding!  My good pal Rachael (Silvers) Michael was the fab photographer who captured the big day, so I will be sure to post pictures as soon as possible!

Kate and Kyle spent much time choosing a venue that suited their love for the city yet still displayed their uniqueness as a couple.  The Chicago History Museum was a perfect fit!  From the beautiful hardwood floors to the Georgian style architecture, the Chicago Room at CHM is a true gem.

Although the couple had a traditional wedding taking place in a church, CHM boasts a beautiful outdoor veranda with spectacular views of Lincoln Park for your outdoor ceremony.  So, should you choose to wed at CHM, you have the option to exchange vows outdoors or indoors.

Stephanie Slovak, sales representative from CHM, was an absolute dream to work with!  Stephanie is accommodating, professional and has a warm personality!  Be sure to talk with Stephanie when working with the Chicago History Museum!

Pick of the Week: 10/22/07 October 23, 2007

Last weekend, I had the wonderful opportunity of working with Levy Catering!

 FABULOUS, ladies! I highly recommend them!

Levy was on top of their game!  The staff was efficient, accommodating and friendly.  They went out of their way to make all the guests (and vendors!) comfortable.  They handled all of our special requests with ease and efficiency!

From experience, as a vendor, we sometimes receive a not-so-friendly treatment from halls and catering companies, but the experience received from Levy was amazing.  .   At the end of the night, the staff even helped load my car with the couples’ personal belongings.

To top it off, the food was incredible.  I worked solely with sales representative BRIANNA — so ladies, grab her if you can!  She is absolutely wonderful!  Professional, great personality and she KNOWS her venues — top to bottom!
